Another winner, Brian. Your books continue to draw me into new worlds that, good or bad, i'd like to visit if I could.
#4?! I just bought #2 today! Argghh! Rural Vermont is making me miss all of the good comics! Bri can you point me to any good comic stores here in your old home state?
Great issue. Really sticks with you after you've read it.
As a resident of Missoula, and cause Amanda likes to pimp anything Mr. Wood puts out, I decided to check out Local #4. As someone who regularly fuels at Dixie’s Travel Plaza, I recognize all the scenery. The issue is wonderful, and having never read the series, the issue works great as a stand alone issue. Kudos!
This one really made my skin crawl. I love the last page, and also how the title and credits appear on page 4. Not sure what kind of device that is, but it makes me stop and really prepares me to enter the story (I can't remember if the other issues do that, but I just read #4 on the train this morning so it's fresh in my mind). I'm starting to feel really bad for Poor Megan. This girl goes through one shitstorm worse than the last! I like her resilience and pluck, though - I'm totally rooting for her!
Greetings from Singapore!
Another awesome issue, Brian and Ryan. Wonderful, impactful tale.
So atmospheric too. Makes me wish I could visit the place.
Keep the great stories coming!
Greetings from Germany!
Very nice story, the dialogues were utterly brilliant as always.
I like the idea behind those flying birds after he pulled the trigger, its kind of more innovative then simply showing the shot. Also the scene in the bathroom, were he talks to himself, shows even more how psychopatic this man was, it really gave this man this realistic character.
Keep up the good work, cya.
